Wine Connect will be holding a celebration dinner of all that is good about French food and wine at restaurant Paris Go 116 Rathdowne St Carlton, on the eve of Bastille Day.
Paris Go has been owned and operated by Gabriel Dimitriad for over 17 years and it must be the only French restaurant in Carlton, a suburb where Italian food is king. In many ways Paris Go is the Ille de France of Carlton. When you come along to our Bastille Eve dinner you will get a chance to partake in your own wine version of the Tour De France as we enjoy the wines from Champagne, Burgundy and Bordeaux. Ian will be back from France just in time for the dinner, and he will be able to bring us up to speed on all things French.
Rocks on Rosalind, 14th of July
Bastille Day, or as the French would say, "quatorze juillet" - no better reason to hold a dinner with a distinctly French flavour at Rocks on Rosalind in Bendigo.
Chef Ben Massey has produced a special menu for us that celebrates all that is great about French cooking and Ian and John will match wines from their French portfolio to Ben's menu. Ian will be back from France just in time for the dinner, and he will be able to bring us up to speed on all things French.
