Wine Connect Tour de Burgundy - Louis Latour

Today, members of the Wine-Connect Burgundy tour visited a Tonnellerie where they saw the production of wine barrels in full swing.



Some tour members even got some hands on experience. Many thanks to Gilles for making his time available. 










This was followed by a visit to the Louis Latour winery at Aloxe Corton where Chef de Cave, Boris Champy kindly took us on a visit of this historic winery which was followed by a wonderful tasting of a village and 1er Cru red and white Burgundy. 



In the evening we received a talk on the Burgundy region from Burgundy guru, Clive Coates.
