Chianti Bistro Dinner - Wednesday 8th July
This is your invitation to a wonderful dinner that will show case fabulous food and wine at Chianti Bar and Bistro in Clifton Hill on Wednesday the 8th of July.
John, from Wine Connect, and Scott, from Distillery Works, will be hosting the dinner. Distillery Works is one of Australia's leading Italian wine importers.
While Ian is stuck in France for the next few weeks and limited to drinking French wines, we get the opportunity to travel the length and breadth of Italy, exploring many of the wonderful wine regions the country has to offer.
We will start with a casual wine tasting at 7:00 pm, and then be seated at 7:30pm for dinner. The wines chosen will be matched to Chef Dominic Stanton's exciting 5 course degustazione menu.

This will be a great chance to taste some Italian wines that you may not be familiar with, and a chance to catch up with some old favourites. Come and enjoy what will definitely be a fun night at Chianti Bar and Bistro, 376 Queens Parade, Clifton Hill.

La Piazza Bendigo dinner - Tuesday 14th July
Bastille Day, or as the French would say, "quatorze juillet" - no better reason to hold a dinner with a distinctly French flavour at La Piazza in Bendigo. Set this date aside for a wonderful night of good food, good wine and good company. Ian will be flying in from France just in time for the dinner, and he will be able to bring us up to speed on all things French.
